Here it is. The first episode of Return to the Drift. And, boy, does it feel like a first episode. Honestly, it feels unfinished, but I can't be bothered to fix it. I started this back in January 2018. It's been a whole eight years since I initially "finished" this and Episode Two. Consider this a time capsule of my own artistic growth. Here, you'll see various old designs of Extür, because I just couldn't get his design right. I eventually got a hold on it in the next episode. Still, I have to admit, I still struggle with his design. It's so simple, but not at the same time.
Anyway, this episode is the introduction of Rock and Extür. Anything in italics are my commentary notes, because why not. Trust me, it gets better.
Also, don't ask why Rock always has inconsistent coloring. I think the idea was that because he has paranormal abilities that his fur color changes. It eventually gets more consistent.
